SANA’A, YEMEN (01:15 PM) – In a televised speech held on Friday, the leader of the Ansarullah movement, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi said that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are in fact serving the interests of the United States and Israel by continuing their aggression against Yemen.
Sayyid al-Houthi referred specifically to the situation in Aden, where two sides of the aggression forces have turned on eachother and are now killing one another on Yemeni soil. He noted that the conflict in Aden is indicative of how the Saudi and UAE regimes are serving the interests of the US and the usurper Israeli regime who are bent on dividing Yemenis. The Ansarullah leader added that Yemen will fight tooth and nail to push back all the aggressors and liberate every piece of their homeland.
“Our choice is to counter the aggression,” the leader of the Yemeni revolutionary movement said.
Sayyid Al-Houthi also reiterated his support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinians, saying the Saudi aggression aimed to liquidate the cause by causing Arab and Muslim infighting.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Sayyid called on the Sudanese government to withdraw its troops from the Saudi-led aggression coalition and stop fighting the Yemeni people.
“I call on the dear Sudanese people to pressure their government into stopping to send its troops to fight the Yemeni people,”
Sayyid al-Houthi said that the Sudanese people are the dear brothers of the Yemeni people, but blamed the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir for being greedy for Saudi petrodollars.
“But because of Saudi money, the Sudanese president is sending the Sudanese army as mercenaries to fight the Yemeni people in the interest of the Saudi and UAE regimes,” al-Houthi said.
The leader praised the achievements of the Yemeni Army and the Ballistic Missiles Forces for their patriotic role in defending the country against the Saudi-led military aggression.
“If we leave this life to tyrants, who use the force against the peoples, then there will be no more peace in this world,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concluded, mirroring similar calls that have been made through the ages by pious revolutionaries in the Islamic world.
