A quarrel between groups of militants, which broke out in the Mansourah district turned into armed confrontations in the 37th neighborhood near the district’s post office, according to the sources.
Gunfire was exchanged and three people died, including an officer.
The confirmed names of the dead are Mohammed Dajajah and Majid al-Mashdaly with a third person not yet identified, the sources added.
The sources indicated that the victim Majid al-Mashdaly is a criminal investigation officer in the Mansoura police force, who tried to intervene in order to solve a conflict among the Saudi-backed militias.
On Tuesday, residents of Ja’oula neighborhoods in the Dar Saad district of Aden city found a dead body of an unidentified citizen, a young man with a gunshot wound to his head, in the outskirts of the neighborhood, according to an official source.
Assassinations are widespread in the city of Aden due to security chaos and the spread of armed militias financed by the UAE occupation and Saudi Arabia, including al-Qaeda.
