SANA’A – Sniper units of the Yemeni army have on Monday managed to shoot at least 12 mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northern Yemen. This was confirmed by Yemen Press Agency based on a military official’s report.
According to the official, nine Saudi-led mercenaries were killed in sniper operations, which took place in South of Haradh and east of Mothalath A’ahem districts, while three others were killed in the Midi desert.
The official also indicated that the army’s engineering unit destroyed a military mechanism of the coalition in an ambush in Mothalath A’ahem district, killing and injuring all those on board, while another military vehicle was damaged by an explosive device in the Midi desert.
Earlier in the day, groups of coalition soldiers were killed and wounded, and two military vehicles were destroyed and damaged in ” Zilizali-1″ missile and artillery attacks targeting their gatherings in Mothalath A’ahem, Hiran and Southern Haradh districts.
