Five civilians, including children, were injured on Saturday during a Saudi mercenary unit’s shelling of populated neighborhoods in Taiz city in southwestern Yemen, a security source told Yemen Press Agency.

The coalition mercenaries shelled Al-Jomlah Souk neighborhood in the centre the city with a mortar, which led to the injuring of five people, including children.

This attack comes in the context of numerous crimes committed by the coalition forces against civilians, often by targeting populated areas and citizens’ homes. In addition to this, several armed clashes between factions loyal to Saudi Arabia and the UAE have taken place in several residential neighborhoods of Taiz, which have left dozens of victims.
