At least four aid workers and a special security guard have been executed on Wednesday by takfiri gunmen in northeastern Nigeria.
According to Reuters, the International Rescue Committee and Action Against Hunger confirmed the deaths of some of their employees and other aid workers.
The takfiri terrorists posted a video last month in which the hostages identified themselves.
The execution highlights the growing threat to aid workers in north-eastern Nigeria. The humanitarian crises has been exacerbated by the decades-long conflict with takfiri groups such as Boko Haram.
