ADEN -The so-called Interior Minister of the coalition-backed government, Ahmed Al-Missri, has fled from Crater district in Aden province to move to his headquarters in the city of Brega, pro-coalition media reported.
Following recent developments in Aden, the Southern Transitional Council militias attacked al-Missri’s house and took control of positions and military camps in Crater.
According to media sources, Saudi and Sudanese armored vehicles have left al- Maasheq area, near the presidential palace in Crater and headed for Brega district.
The UAE-backed militias took control of most of the military camps of the government of the so-called Hadi government in the province of Aden, after violent clashes that lasted for days and left dozens of victims, including civilians.
Local sources confirmed the escape and the surrender of the so-called Hadi government.
Earlier, the Southern Transition Council forces said they had taken control of Badr camp, the most important camp of the mercenary government.
