New cases of militia infighting plague Aden province

ADEN- Fierce clashes broke out on Sunday between Saudi-led coalition rival militants in Aden province. This confirmed by Yemen Press Agency based on local sources.

According to the sources, the clashes broke out in the city of al-Mansoura. The sources confirmed that commander of the emergency forces in the city of Aden, Captain Fawaz al-Naqeeb, was injured in the fights.

According to eyewitnesses, Al-Naqeeb led the campaign to demolish random buildings in the Kabuta area of al-Mansoura, but was attacked by gunmen who injuring him instantly.

The clashes meanwhile have cut off a number of roads to the city of Aden, especially the Kaltex road, which connects all of Aden’s directorates.

The recent bout of infighting came a few days after clashes erupted between the so-called Alalmihdar Brigade and a rival militia, causing injuries on both sides.
