PALESTINE -At least 46 Palestinians, including a 6-year-old girl, were injured last night during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of al-Eizariya, located in occupied Jerusalem, when Zionist forces launched raids and arrests in the West Bank.
According to medical sources in the Palestinian Red Crescent, the child was hit by a gas bomb directly on the head, and was initially taken to a medical center in Abu Dis before being transferred to Hadassah Hospital for treatment.
The sources added that six members of one and the same family were injured by poison gas and tear gas while they were in their car.
In the West Bank, Zionist forces arrested a number of Palestinians at dawn on Sunday during razzias carried out in various parts of the West Bank.
Local sources said that the forces even arrested a child after raiding a house in the al-Aroub refugee camp north of A-Khalil (called Hebron in Hebrew) in the south of the West Bank, while enemy soldiers raided several other houses in different neighbourhoods of Al-Khalil.
In Ramallah, the capital of the internationally recognised Palestinian Authority, Zionist forces raided the residence of Birzeit University student Hassan Hashem, and confiscated some of his belongings.
