Report: Saudi-led coalition continues to breach Sweden’s agreement in Hodeidah over 24 hours
HODEIDAH – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition’s militias continued their violations of Sweden’s agreement in Hodeidah province. western Yemen, by targeting various areas and villages with artillery and machine guns over the past 24 hours, according to a report contained by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
According to the report, a child was injured in the militias’ bombardment on Duraihmi district. Furthermore, the coalition-backed militias shelled residential areas on Khamseen street and al-Shabab city on Tissain street. They also bombarded al-Ka’aoi and al-Shajan areas in Duraihmi district,
The artillery shelling of the militias targeted farms in Duraihmi district amid the intensive flights of spy planes over several districts.
The report indicated that the militias targeted separate areas in south and east of Tuhayta district by machine guns and artillery shells. Several of Katyusha rockets and artillery shells were launched to al-Zaafran and Mahl al-Sheikh villages in Kilo 16 area.
” Two military bulldozers established new fortifications in east of al-Shabab city on Khamseen and Tissain street, while a farmer was killed and the farm was damaged by the artillery bombardment in Jamisha area of Kilo 16 area, the report added.
the report concluded that the Saudi-led coalition militias carried out an attack on Yemeni army locations in south of Duraihmi district, but were foiled without making any progress on the ground.
