MARIB – Citizens of Marib city, eastern Yemen, on Saturday found the body of Abdullatif al-Adani, a leader in the Salafist movement, having been shot multiple times. This was confirmed by Yemen Press Agency based on local sources.
According to the source, Al-Adani, from Aden province, was found killed in his car between “Bin Maeli” fuel station and “al-Ra’ka” security point in the city, according to sources in Marib.
Human rights activist blamed Islah Party’s militias for the assassination of al-Adani, as “Islahists” are who actually control Marib city.
Palestinian Hamas movement had announced earlier in the day the killing of one of its elements in Marib.
