SANA’A – People living in the southeastern Yemeni province of Hadhramaut are suffering intensely under an ever increasing living cost, rising poverty and crippling corruption. This according to sources reported by the Yemen News Agency.
Many Hadhramis are complaining about the hardships they are subjected to under the occupation of the Saudi-led occupation forces and their puppet government of self-appointed “prime minister” Ahmed bin Daghr. The complaints come after yet another wave of rising prices and continuous power blackouts, issues that have been plaguing the province for the past three years.
The southern provinces of Yemen, which are under collective Saudi and Emirati occupation, have been the scene of continuous sectarian and ethnic violence as well as vying by foreign invaders to take control over strategic locations and natural resources of the land.
The Hadrhamaut province is the home of the Hadhrami, a distinct people with an anciend and illustrious history, complete with their own specific Arabic language. The often fiercely independent tribes of Hadhramaut are unlikely to put up with continued abuse at the hands of foreign aggressors.
