The Head of the United Nations mission for Coordination Committee for the Redeployment in Hodeidah, Abhijit Guha, has said that the increase in the number of airstrikes of the air strikes of Saudi-led coalition during the past 72 hours is “a clear contradiction with the relative calm following the establishment of observation posts.”
“The increase in the number of air strikes carried out over the past 72 hours is clearly against the relative calm experienced in the region following the establishment of checkpoints,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

He said “the airstrikes threaten the safety of the members of the Coordination Committee”, the body responsible for monitoring the ceasefire.
