An Israeli drone was downed on Wednesday inside Lebanese territory near the border with Israel, during routine Israeli army operations along the border.
“Shortly before, during routine border protection operations, a plane landed near the border on the Lebanese side,” the Israeli Army spokesman Avichai Adarei said in a statement.
The Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported that “the Israeli army has pushed security reinforcements into the area to carry out search operations at the site.”
