Yemeni forces liberated over 1,000 square kilometers in recent offensive
SANA’A – The Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree has stated on Thursday that “the recent operations carried out by the Yemeni army have ended with the regaining of more than 1,000 square kilometers which were previously controlled by the coalition forces and mercenaries.”
General Saree furthermore stated that he sent messages to the people of the southern provinces.
“The army and popular committees are continuing, alongside local residents, to restore all the occupied areas,” the military spokesman told reporters after an inspection visit to the al-Oud, al-Hamk and al-Hasha fronts in Dhalea province.
“The leadership is keen to restore security, stability and normalization of conditions in the liberated areas,” he added. “We have no aggressive intentions towards our brothers in the southern provinces, and we will stand side by side in order to liberate their provinces from the occupation and occupiers.”
“The operations recently carried out by army forces are aimed at the invaders and their mercenaries, and do not target the people of the South,” he continued.
“The Yemeni Arny and Popular Committees are completing their operations until every inch of the territory of the Republic of Yemen is cleared,” Brigadier General Yahya Saree concluded
