Yemeni resistance humiliates Saudi forces in Yatmah front

SANA’A, YEMEN (11:00 PM) – The combined Yemeni resistance of the Armed Forces and Popular Committees loyal to the revolutionary government, have dealt another humiliating blow to the invading armies of the Saudi kingdom, this time in Yatmah region.

The battles in Yatmah, in the northeastern Yemeni province of Jawf, the forces of the Saudi-led invading coalition suffered one of its largest material and personnel losses of the past three years.
The entirety of the Yatmah front in Jawf was liberated by Yemeno forces, including a number of mountains and strategic hilltops that may prove vital for the future war effort. Also, more than 11 Saudi armored vehicles and tanks were destroyed, killing and injuring dozens of Saudi soldiers, including the commander of the Second Battalion of the Saudi Border Guards, Lieutenant Colonel Nafie Jarad al-Maqni.
Fourteen more soldiers and officers were captured and are held in captivity.

The Yatmah front was of strategic importance to the planned future of the Saudi invasion effort, as it was key to their plans to further attack Saada province in the near future. These plans have now been thwarted by the strategic genius of the Yemeni Resistance.
